0. SEASON DATES
​Garth View Campsite is open from 27th March to 31st October.
Grass tent pitches: Opening dates vary depending on weather conditions and ground suitability.
Hard‑standing pitches and the pod: Available for the full season.

1. GENERAL
​We ask all users of our site to comply with our policy. If you, or your party, do not comply, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
This site has a zero tolerance policy in force against the use of abusive language and threatening behaviour, those who fail to behave accordingly will be asked to leave.
Persons who are subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 may not use the campsite.

2. YOUR BOOKING
​This camp site is for recreational use only. Campers are not permitted to use the site as a base for any commercial activities.
At the discretion of the site owner, customers may stay on site whilst working in the local area.
You must be aged 18 years or over and have the authority of all persons within your party to book a pitch on our site. We reserve the right to refuse any booking.
3. YOUR ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN
​Arrival time is between 2pm and 8pm. Campers should arrive before last check-in at 8pm, should you anticipate arriving late, please call the site as soon as possible.
All arrivals must make contact with the owners in order to check-in at the main house or call 07890 579814. Payment for the pitch is required at check-in, by BACS or cash, only.
In the event of poor ground conditions, a pitch may not be available. While every effort will be made to advise you in advance, we cannot accept responsibility should this not be possible.

4. YOUR PITCH
​For your safety, we operate a "six metre rule" which means that units (excluding guy ropes) should be 6 metres apart from adjacent units in order to protect against fire and maintain social distancing. If this cannot be achieved, you may be asked to purchase an additional pitch.
You may park your vehicle between units, provided that 3m clear space is left within the 6m gap. Vehicles on site should be parked at right angles to a slope where possible weather permitting. You may need to park in the parking area provided and walk to your pitch.

5. YOUR STAY ON SITE
Facilities are provided for your convenience — please use them responsibly. Respect must be shown to other campers, the landowner, livestock, trees, fences, crops, equipment, and surrounding areas. E‑cigarettes are treated the same as cigarettes and must be used in accordance with legal requirements.
5.1 WEATHER & GROUND CONDITIONS
We operate in all normal weather conditions and do not offer refunds or date changes due to rain, wind, cold, or soft ground. If extreme weather makes travel or access unsafe, we will work with you to rearrange your stay. No refunds are offered for early departure due to weather unless the site is officially closed.
5.2 VEHICLE ACCESS, PARKING & GETTING STUCK
Guests are responsible for driving and parking safely, especially in wet or soft ground. If a vehicle becomes stuck, we will assist where possible, but Garth View cannot accept responsibility for any damage during recovery, whether assistance is provided by us or a third party. Any towing or recovery costs are the guest’s responsibility. If the grass field is too wet for vehicles, guests may be required to park in the designated parking area and walk to their pitch. This may also apply to pod bookings during periods of very soft ground.
5.3 PETS
Well‑behaved pets are welcome. Owners must clean up after their pets and keep noise to a minimum. Dogs must be kept on a lead of no more than 2m. Dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted.
5.4 MOVEMENT AROUND SITE
A 5mph speed limit applies at all times.
5.5 RECREATION
Games are permitted, but the owners may stop any activity that threatens the safety or wellbeing of others.
5.6 NOISE
Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times. No vehicle movement is permitted between 11pm and 7am. Generators may only be used with the owner’s permission and may be restricted if they cause disturbance.
5.7 VEHICLES
Only essential repairs may be carried out to allow an unserviceable vehicle to leave the site. No other maintenance is permitted.
5.8 SANITATION
Rubbish should be recycled where possible. Chemical toilet emptying is not permitted anywhere on site.
5.9 BARBECUES & FIREPITS
Barbecues and firepits must be raised off the ground to prevent damage. Never take a barbecue or firepit inside your unit. Campfires are not permitted.
5.10 SAFETY
Please follow any instructions given by the site owner — these are for your safety. Children must be supervised at all times. Gas cylinders must be 15kg or less and stored in the designated compartment of your unit. The following are not permitted due to safety risks: model aircraft, drones, kites, sky lanterns, catapults, air guns, firearms, bows and arrows. Units left overnight are at the owner’s risk.
6. YOUR DEPARTURE
​You should vacate your pitch by 11am, it may be possible to stay a little longer if the pitch is not needed but this must be arranged with the site owner.
All rubbish must be disposed of in the designated areas before you depart.
If you leave a unit or other property at a site without paying or prior arrangement, the owner is entitled to make arrangements to recover any unpaid fees.
​7. CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
​No refunds or discounts are given for bad weather, late arrivals, or early departures.
Grass and hard‑standing pitches: Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking. After this period, 25% of the total booking value is retained.
Pod bookings: Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking. After this period, 50% of the total booking value is retained.
Bank Holidays: All bookings (pitches and pod) are non‑refundable for Bank Holiday dates.
Bookings cannot be amended and no refunds are given after the 48‑hour cancellation window unless agreed at the owner’s discretion.

8. LOST PROPERTY​
All items of lost property will be retained for one calendar month. Items not claimed after this period will be donated to a local charity, this includes any monies. Any items that are not of use to any of the local charities will be disposed of.
Anything where the owner is readily identifiable will be either directly returned to the owner, if still on site, or contacted by phone if possible.
Owners are responsible for the cost of reclaiming their goods.
The following items are excluded from this policy: credit or debit cards, any items that may pose a danger to employees or the public, unclaimed perishable goods and any abandoned items.
The claimant must sign for all items claimed and record their full name and address.

9. LIABILITY​​
You are responsible for keeping your belongings safe.
The site does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of the camper, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery and motor vehicles.

10. QUERIES OR COMPLAINTS​
Any cause for complaint should in the first instance be addressed with the site owner. If, in the unlikely event that the complaint cannot be resolved on site, then it should be addressed to the attention of the site owners listed below under emergency contacts, Garthwynnog, Llwyncelyn, Aberaeron SA46 0HE
